The Wisconsin Driftless Area gets a lot of attention from the sport touring community. Join us for a ride along lesser known routes that we've tried to keep secret (shhh). Chock full of curves, their midwestern chip seal will warm your tires from the start.
Schedule and Accommodations
Group riding times are discussed/announced the night before. Gas, food and lodging are included. Each coordinator will have a limited array of roadside tools. Bring any obscure utilities specific to your motorcycle.
Wednesday
Let's gather and get acquainted! Founded in 1851, Richland Center marks the crossroads between farmland and the Wisconsin River. A bustling metropolis, this town plays home to a variety of local establishments while dividing the driftless region right down the middle. Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin and House on the Rock are barely thirty minutes away. We'll enjoy dinner around 6pm and discuss all things tour.
Thursday
We kick things off with a 225-mile introduction to the Wisconsin ethos. It's a thrilling mix of twisties, sweepers, and breathtaking scenery. The route winds its way through Viola and Wildcat Mountain, Leon and Minduro, Esofea and Readstown, before returning to base via Five Points. Being a Thursday, we'll enjoy lighter traffic, avoiding the potential for slow rolling weekend warriors.
Friday
Relaxing sweepers and scenic highways meet tight, technical back roads. We head northwest to Shelby, visiting St. Joseph and catching our breath after Barre Mills. Next, it's onto some of Wisconsin's finest "alphabet soup" plus a second go of the Mindoro Cut. Bangor provides another break. Further south, the curves get tighter all the way into Yuba, followed by evening provisions and rest.
Saturday
Our finale warms up with a beeline straight, winding south along county OO toward Muscoda. From there we continue until we reach Clyde, eventually meandering southeast into Mount Horeb. Bouncing between US-18 and the Wisconsin River, we ricochet west at Highland, filling in the north/south voids via Fennimore, then rolling northeast back to base for post-ride down time.
Sunday
Make your way home! Seriously. It's likely we've all had a wonderful time riding incredible roads while bonding with new friends ... but all good things have their end. We're grateful for your business and look forward to riding with you again in the future, schedules permitting. We kindly ask that you contact us and let us know that you've made it home safe!
